A City In Context

A City In Context

An animated film to make us change the way we think about our city.

A City In Context is a collaboration between the design team Humanstudio, Danny Dorling and Ben Hennig from the University of Sheffield’s Department of Geography, and Carl Lee, lecturer in geography at Sheffield College.

Danny, Carl and Ben provided facts and statistics based on their research. Humanstudio turned those insights into an animated film. The result is an entertaining journey that forces us to think again about our city and the world.

A City in Context will be screened at various locations during the festival, including the Spiegeltent in Barker’s Pool.

Crazy Maps: Danny, Carl and Nick talk about the stats and the issues behind the film.
