An Art-Science Encounter
A film by the painter, muralist and screenprinter Florence Blanchard exploring the hidden world of bacteria cells and raising awareness of how nature can be engineered to produce chemicals that make industry cleaner and mitigate the effects of climate change.
Followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
Florence Blanchard’s art is inspired by her training as a scientist. Originally from France, Florence now lives and works in Sheffield. Professor Jeff Green is director of CBMNet, an industrial biotechnology science network based at the University of Sheffield.
