An animated thrill-ride, brought to you by Silverdale’s talented art students.
Two outstanding A Level art students at Silverdale school have teamed up with the city’s universities to create an interactive, animated ghost train ride.
Dan Bentley and Andrew Weir have collaborated with the University of Sheffield’s National Fairground Archive and students from Sheffield Hallam University’s Computer Game department to create an animated artwork inspired by the classic ride.
The team used Maya PS3 technology to make the artwork, which is part film, part video game.
