Artist Kate Sully and fertility expert Professor Allan Pacey talk about their rich, complex artwork which looks at human reproduction from a new perspective and reflects the incredible diversity of what we know.
Mixed media artist Kate Sully has just finished a two-year residency at the University of Sheffield, where she produced a large body of work inspired by bioengineering and materials. Kate’s work is shown locally and nationally.
The research behind ‘Journey’ was led by Professor Allan Pacey and PhD student Sofia Granados Aparici. Allan is head of andrology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. He also directs a clinical laboratory, a sperm bank and a masters course in science communication.
