Come along to the exciting premiere of In the Key of Blue, a new musical composition based on archive research and performed by Out Aloud, Sheffield’s LGBT Community Choir.
The performance is inspired by John Addington Symonds (1840-93), a homosexual man of letters whose life, loves and writings were subject to moral censure and legal repression. In The Key Of Blue responds to his most extraordinary essay: a lyric mediation on homoerotic colour and clothing as it covers and reveals the human body.
