We live in the greenest city in England. Sheffield’s woodlands were crucial to the city’s evolution as a world centre for iron and steel. As our city and our lives continue to change, the woods are still here, in our midst and all around us.
Sheffield’s Enchanted Woods is an audiovisual installation that explores the complex relationship between the city and the woods; human beings and nature. Vivid images tell the story of the woods; an original score for harp and guitar evokes their magic.
The Third Half are Graham McElearney on harp and Peter Rophone on guitar and vocals. Between them they have an impressive track record of collaboration, with bands such as In The Nursery, Reverend and the Makers, and I, Monster.
