A series of open-air workshops inspired by Shakespeare’s sonnets.
Art in the Park continue their 2012 celebration of Shakespeare with a series of workshops, open to all ages and abilities.
In the first two sessions, you get to work with an academic, an artist and a writer, exploring the dramatic imagery in Shakespeare’s sonnets and using them as inspiration for words and pictures of your own.
The third session will be an outdoor exhibition of work created the previous weekend. You’ll get a chance to create more words and art.
There’s no need to book – just turn up.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
Art in the Park is an environmental art organisation working with the Sheffield community. We run arts events and workshops in areas where people don’t often get the chance to explore their creativity.
