Stars in the Brain

Stars in the Brain

This immersive digital installation takes you inside the human brain to follow the day-to-day workings of astrocytes, the star-like cells that we literally can’t live without.

Astrocytes do the brain’s tidying up, clearing a space around the neurons so they can do their work: helping us to move, think and feel.

Arts Council EnglandThis exhibit is part of the Futurecade series of events. Futurecade is generously supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

Animator and digital artist Mike Futcher makes short films, music videos and installations.
