Structural Colour: Iridescence

Structural Colour: Iridescence

Artist Paul Evans presents an ambitious exhibition of work in various media including a colourful, abstract, virtual reality environment. The title piece is a real-world installation made from 3D, super-enlarged versions of the iridescent structures from butterfly wings.

Paul Evans and Professor Richard Jones also give a talk about the art and science of colour in the Spiegeltent at 5pm on Tuesday 20 September. As part of this you’ll also get a preview of Paul’s new work Homage to the Sphere, an abstract, virtual reality colour environment that he is currently developing with design studio Human.
