Children and young people present a fun, interactive family-friendly performance, specially produced by Growtheatre and members of its youth theatre with Sheffield Beekeepers’ Association.
The work contains stories about bees and beekeeping inspired by research undertaken in conjunction with the University’s Department of Archaeology.
This event is limited to around 100 people so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Growtheatre works with communities and schools to develop creative projects inspired by the natural landscape.
Toby Pillatt is a visiting research fellow at the University of Sheffield, and co-leader of Telling the Bees, an AHRC-funded project about bees and bee-knowledge.
